Isn't this a gorgeous vase by Michael Nourot? Its' from 1984 and signed. Sadly, he passed away in 2015, but his studio still continues with his sons and other artists creating more beautiful art glass. In 1987 when Pope John Paul II came to San Francisco and had mass is Candlestick Park Michael Nourot was commissioned to make the pieces to be used in the mass, a platter for the Pope's mitre, goblets, etc. He was that well respected!
This vase is about 5 1/3 tall. It has a lovely feel and look about it, very pleasing. It's cased glass with the inside looking nothing like the outside! The last photo is how it looks with a little tea light in it. Sometimes I like to put a little mini string of lights or a tea light inside my art glass for special events! I have a little more art glass, look at my other items in my store. This item is in the category "Pottery & Glass\Decorative Pottery & Glassware\Vases".
